Serico Print Publication
When I had the chance to design my own publication I was ecstatic and knew almost immediately that I wanted to make a quarterly about one of my favorite hobbies: screen printing. Serico (Latin for "ink") soon took on a strong human narrative and evolved to cover a wide range of printmaking-related topics.
Naturally, I had to screen print part of it and produced the cover and a poster insert using this printing technique. Seeing as I was designing the autumn issue, I was thrilled to use fluorescent orange as the spot color in my leafy, otherwise naturalistic prints.
